Meade County Performing Arts Council, Inc. was established in 2004.

The Meade County Performing Arts Council, Inc. (MCPAC) is a non-profit organization that carefully selects local, regional and professional performing groups and solo artists, including those affiliated with the Kansas Arts Commission.

MCPAC supports programs that utilize the performing arts to reach out to the community believing that performing arts programs are an important means of developing an appreciation of culture and value in the arts. In addition to providing local, regional and professional entertainment, our productions are ideal for arts-in-education performances and workshops with programs catering to elementary school, middle school and high school students.

Our goals are:

  •     Enhancing the community through the cultivation of the arts.
  •     Providing performance opportunities for youth and community members.
  •     Inspiring and educating youth in the arts.
  •     Enriching and empowering the arts curricula of our schools.
  •     Showing an appreciation for the various talents of local artists.

You may access a copy of our Bylaws here.

We have a nine-member board of directors representing all of Meade County.
