3 Way
Cross
The trio, 3 Way Cross, consists
of Jeff Padgett (vocals, mandolin and fiddle), Bill Norman (vocals, guitar,
claw-hammer banjo), and Don Clark (vocals and guitar).
These three have played music on and off for over 25 years at various local
functions like church, Fowler's Threshing Days, Meade's Relay for Life, etc.
The interest was rekindled last summer when the three got together to play
at the Fowler Nursing Home during Threshing Days. “The guys were having so
much fun, they decided to see what would happen if they practiced,” Clark
remarked, “and the trio was official.”
Jeff Padgett lives in Meade with his wife, Marshan and 3 children, Erin,
Clayton, and Lauren. Bill Norman lives on a farm northeast of Fowler with
wife, Donna and 2 sons, Brett and Charlie. Don Clark lives in Fowler with
wife, Barb and 4 children, Joshua, Shay, Ty, and Carrie.
