The first part of Cimarron Chronicles was the story of Carrie Schmoker Anshutz and her experience as a young girl growing up on the Kansas prairie. Read a portion of her story here.
The second, and larger, part of the book was Doc Anshutz's experience, coming to the Plains a lad of sixteen and trying several occupations, but eventually ending up an open-range cowboy in what is now the Oklahoma Panhandle. Read a portion of Doc's story here.
